   The art and animation is this show makes me so happy.

   What I loved about the show was how bright, colorful, and goofy some of the scenes were so that the dark and intense moments (like those above) really stood out. An “edgy” show doesn’t have to be all blacks, grays, browns, and reds, but you can make those colors effective if you present them well.
   
   Also, Maka is a badass and Stein is fucking amazing.

   I don’t really care what your views are on religion/historical stories like the flood and shit, but everyone should watch this movie.  It was so boss.

   Haha man if someone doesn’t watch this movie just because they don’t believe in the Christian/Jewish mythos then they are being a dumbass and missing out because of it 8|

   As someone who isn’t religious, I can attest to how well this movie is put together.  It’s told in a way that someone who isn’t a Christian or Jew can entirely enjoy it - like if you were to sit down to a film about Hercules.  It’s a very well adapted story.
